It is our personal belief that no person should be defined by a generalised perception. “Boys shouldn’t wear pink; girls should be dainty” blah blah blah. It’s all nonsense in my opinion.
Authenticity is key to individualism. It’s okay to like the same things as others – or not, it is okay to like the things that culturally [some] believe our ‘genders’ prescribe – or not. It is especially okay, in my opinion, to like things that are not usually things that our ‘gender’ type goes for. There is no right and wrong, good or bad; it’s all a matter of perception.
So here at Shirtee by Soul Twins, our Tee's are unisex, anyone who is anyone can purchase whatever design they darn well please and wear it like a royal with grace, deliberate flair, and [of course] personality.
This is why we use the Gildan 5000 heavy cotton tee made with 100% cotton. Feels like bliss!
It is a dependable classic made for everyday wear and custom printing. Its 100% cotton fabric is tightly knit to give designs sharper detail and long-lasting color. The seamless body eliminates side seams for a smoother fit, while reinforced shoulders keep the shirt in shape through repeated washes. Durable, comfortable, and print-friendly, the Gildan 5000 is a trusted staple for personalized apparel. A perfect match for any occasion you deem worthy of your presence.
Shoulder tape: Twill tape covers the shoulder seams to stabilize the back of the garment and prevent stretching.
Without side seams: Knitted in one piece using tubular knit, it reduces fabric waste and makes the garment more attractive.
Ribbed knit collar without seam: Ribbed knit makes the collar highly elastic and helps retain its shape.
Fabric: Made from specially spun fibers that make a very strong and smooth fabric that is perfect for printing. The "Natural" color is made with unprocessed cotton, which results in small black flecks throughout the fabric. Disclaimer: Due to the fabric properties, the White color variant may appear off-white rather than bright white.
Fiber composition: Solid colors are 100% cotton; Heather colors, Tweed, and Russet are 50% cotton, 50% polyester; Sport Grey and Antique colors are 90% cotton, 10% polyester.
Other compliance information: Meets the flammability, lead, cadmium, phthalates, and formaldehyde level requirements.
Care Instructions:
- Machine wash: Cold water (max 30C)
- Non-chlorine: bleach as needed
- Do not iron
- Do not dry-clean
- Tumble dry: low heat
